About Me

My name is Carrie. I'm not an avid golfer, but I have enough golfers in my family that I decided to review the Garmin GolfLogix. I'm fortunate enough to live in Florida, where the weather is usually good enough to spend plenty of time outdoors. Unless there's a hurricane. I don't live too close to the coast right now, so I don't have to worry too much about hurricane damage, but I do need to stay indoors when they strike.

I've been married for almost eight years. My husband works for a regional grocery store while I stay home and write for the web. I've also been known to write fiction, but I've always been to shy to share that writing with others. I've always loved to write and was a bit distraught in middle school and high school when I realized that I could never be a published writer if I refused to let people see what I wrote. Fortunately I also enjoy writing nonfiction and love research, and I'm not shy about sharing what I find.
